Our Staff

Meet Our Educators
  • We are proud to have highly experienced staff.

Our manager is a qualified Nursery nurse and has over 25 years experience of running our preschool along with our deputy who also has over 25 years experience of being part of our preschool.

We have other staff all of which have NVQ level 2, 3 or equivalent qualification in childcare education. We are fully committed to the ongoing training of our staff, which we see as a life long process which benefits everyone connected to the pre-school.

The staff have attended courses that cover child protection, safeguarding, behaviour management, special educational needs, equal opportunity and paediatric first aid.

I’ve worked here at the pre-school for over 20 years. As the manager I have an input in all aspects of your child’s journey and it’s a real pleasure to watch them develop their own characters and abilities.

Deputy Special educational needs coordinator, 2 year old coordinator

Each year it’s an exciting time when we get our main new group of children, all with different individual needs, and it’s our job to help them adjust and really enjoy their time here at pre-school.

I love being part of the children’s first experience of school life and seeing how they develop and grow before they leave us to go to ‘big school’

  • Recording their progress

Your child’s keyworker records their progress on their journey through pre-school by making observations, taking photographs and samples of your child’s work.

This is all put together in their online learning journal, which high lights their achievements covering three areas when they start on or after 2 years old, progressing onto all six areas of learning in the early year’s foundation stage.

The online learning journal is for parents, your child and keyworker to share on a regular basis and provides an invaluable resource for tracking and commenting on your child progress through pre-school.
